Creo que con este post he exagerado pero muy poco, con ir al pasado. Ya parece lejos de aquellas fotografías de 2008 perdidas, o aquellos posts con fotos de 2009 y 2010. Eso tampoco implica que me remonte al pasado en mi vida ni nada por el estilo, sino que me pareció interesante compartir con Ustedes, imágenes de hace cinco años atrás, cuando yo era muy flaco, cocinaba en la tele y había ido de viaje a Camboriu; además que cuadra con la temática de mis posts anteriores que tratan de reflotar algunas fotos antes de que ya no valgan la pena compartirlas. Claro que antes que 2005 había ido ya, sólo que sin cámaras ni nada por el estilo (excepto en el año 94 con mi vieja Rollei 35 analógica). En esta ocasión, me tocó vivir el famoso Réveillon (año nuevo en el mar). Venham comigo, que este post vai começar com um ano e vai acabar em outro. (Vengan conmigo, que este post va a comenzar con un año y acabar en otro).

I believe that with this post I exaggerated but very little, to go to the past. It seems far from those photographs of 2008 losses, or those posts with photos from 2009 and 2010. That does not mean that I traced to the past in my life or anything like that, but I found it interesting to share with you, images of five years ago, when I was very skinny, made cooking on TV and had gone on a trip to Camboriu; further that fits with the theme of my previous posts trying to rescue some pictures before not worth sharing. Of course that before 2005 I had already went to Camboriu, only without cameras or anything like that (except in '94 with my old Rollei 35 analogue). On this occasion, I experienced the famous Reveillon (New Year at sea). Venham comigo, que este post vai começar com um ano e vai acabar em outro. (Come with me, this post will begin with a year and finish in another).

31 de diciembre de 2005, había llegado a Camboriu en el último día de este año, dispuesto a disfrutar de la playa y probar mi nueva cámara, observando lo que me rodea. Un joven sentado en una piedra en una parte de la playa, observa el mar y se prepara para lanzarse una vez más.

Camboriu es conocido porque el sol de verano en Enero guarda bajo su manga lluvias dispersas y días nublados. Pero siempre valoro que luego de la lluvia vuelve la calma y trae consigo al arcoiris.

En la tarde, cuando el fervor por bañarse en el mar es más tranquilo, se habilitan las canchas de fútbol de playa. Deporte donde Brasil es también varias veces campeón mundial.

Paciencia. Es lo que me llevó a encontrar el momento en que los parapentes se alineen en una línea pendiente que de alguna manera acompaña la de los edificios.

Reveillon: la fiesta de año nuevo en el mar. Entre muchas fotos familiares de esa noche que poco aportarían a este POST, encontré tan sólo un par que valía la pena compartir. Camboriu nocturna desde la playa, y el show de fuegos artificiales comenzaría cerca de la media noche, dando una excelente e inolvidable bienvenida al 2006. Sin trípode en aquel entonces, me fue imposible encontrar alguna fotografía de los fuegos artificiales que sea rescatable. Además, en 2005 aún me dejaba llevar por lo que veía desde afuera del lente.
Reveillon: New Year's party at sea. Among many family photos from that night that would contribute anything to this post, I found only a couple worth sharing. El show de fuegos artificiales de Camboriu es un espectáculo digno de vivir, donde durante unos incansables 15 a 20 minutos el cielo va tornándose de varios colores, productos de la pirotecnia. Y todo finaliza hacia el famoso Pontal Norte, donde el edificio redondo abandonado presenta una "cascada" de 80 metros de fuegos artificiales que le rodean y se dejan caer por la gravedad. La fotografía la tomé desde el mar, ya que la tradición dice que uno debe estar en el mar a las 00:00 del 1 de Enero. Welcome to 2006. The fireworks show in Camboriu is a show that you have to see, where for a tireless 15 to 20 minutes the sky is turning in various colors, because pyrotechnics products. Un poco más al norte de Estaleiro, en la playa de Estaleirinho jugué con mis huellas, y encontré esta roca plagada de ostras que estaban creciendo.
A little north of Estaleiro, on the beach of Estaleirinho I played with my tracks, and I found this rock full of oyster that were growing.

Volviendo más al norte de Estaleirinho, llegamos a Laranjeiras, donde la vegetación absorbía mis sentidos y sobre todo el de la vista. Encontré la manera de jugar con la escultura de manera que parezca un espantapájaros, así como también encontré la manera en que una planta común y silvestre se transforme en estas hermosas siluetas a contraluz.
Returning further north of Estaleirinho, we get to Laranjeiras, where vegetation absorbed my senses and especially the view. I found the way to play with the sculpture to appear like a scarecrow, as well as how a common plant and becomes in these beautiful silhouettes against the light.

Los botes llamaban mi atención. Este bote en particular estaba anclado a varios metros dentro de la inmensidad del mar frente a Laranjeiras. Durante los primeros días de 2006 busqué durante amaneceres y atardeceres a los pescadores, porque quería tener fotografías de ellos. Se volvió una obsesión para mí durante los últimos días de mi estadía, puesto que el día que los había visto no llevaba mi cámara conmigo. Desde aquella vez aprendí a cargar siempre con la cámara.
The boats called my attention. This particular boat was anchored several feet into the vastness of the sea off Laranjeiras. During the first days of 2006 I searched for sunrises and sunsets to the fishermen, because I wanted to have pictures of them. It became an obsession for me during the last days of my stay, since the day were I had seen them, I did not have my camera with me. Since that time I learned to always carry the camera.

Volvimos a Camboriu a través del teleférico. En mi primer viaje a esta ciudad en 1994, ésto no existía.
We went through the cable car Camboriu. On my first trip to this city in 1994, this did not exist.

El calor del sol de Camboriu frente al mar no se compara al calor del Paraguay que es más seco y fuerte. Sin embargo el sol igual quema en ambos lugares, y para combatirlo efectivamente nada mejor que un sombrero. Cadê chapeu?
The heat of the sun in front of the sea of Camboriu does not compare to the heat of Paraguay that is drier and stronger. But as the sun burns in both places, and to combat it effectively nothing better than a hat. Cadê chapeu?

Taní, es como de la familia (la familia de mi ex-novia en este caso puesto que viajé con ellos a Camboriu), y era el niñito que acompañaba a su mamá cuando trabajaba para ellos. En aquel entonces ya era un joven "mayor" y que aún estaba ligado a la familia, por lo que viajó también con ellos para encargarse de los quehaceres del hogar. Además es una navaja suiza por su experiencia en plomería, electricidad, pintura, etc. Tani is like family (the family of my ex-girlfriend in this case since I traveled with them to Camboriu), and was the little boy who accompanied his mother when she was working for them. At that time it was an "older" young man and was still linked to the family, so also traveled with them to take care of household cares. Y quién dijo que en Camboriu no hay tiburones? En esta pesca encontraron al menos dos especies distintas, que si bien son pequeños, siguen siendo tiburones.

Uno de los últimos días en Camboriu y fuimos al Mercado de Itajaí, donde encontré esta singular imagen de la sandía, donde desde lejos pensé que eran solamente semillas.

04:46 - Penúltimo amanecer en Camboriu, un ave sobrevuela la costa buscando algunos peces que estén por ahí mientras la marea se retiraba, y yo tenía la información precisa: hoy salen los pescadores en el amanecer. Sin turistas, sin curiosos, tendría la actividad sólo para mí, como un único testigo.
04:46 - Penultimate Camboriu dawn, a bird flies over the coast looking for some fish that are out there as the tide retreated, and I had the information accurate: the fishermen will be out today at dawn. No tourists, no curious, would have the activity only for me, as the only witness.

05:28 - Estas son las imágenes que busqué con ansias durante esos 15 días en Camboriu, las siluetas de los pescadores durante su trabajo, en el inicio del día, donde sólo acompañaban el paisaje algunas aves y algunos sanos deportistas que salen a caminar o trotar sobre la Avenida Atlántica, mientras todo Camboriu aún duerme.
05:28 - These are the images I looked forward to during those 15 days Camboriu, the silhouettes of the fishermen at work, at the beginning of the day, where accompanied the landscape only birds and some healthy athletes who take a walk or jogging on the Atlantic Avenue, while everyone is still sleeping in Camboriu.

Último día en Camboriu y aprovechamos el esplendor del sol al máximo para pasar frente al mar una vez más. Una abeja se posa en el famoso churro que se vende en la playa.

La playa comienza a llenarse de gente, mitad de Enero y mientras algunos paraguayos regresamos, nos despedimos de aquellos que se quedan más tiempo y habrán otros que vendrán más adelante, cuando el bullicio se calme y el lugar vaya quedando más despoblado para aprovechar así una playa que en los primeros días está repleta. he beach starts to fill with people, half of January and while some Paraguayans back, we say goodbye to those who stay longer and have more to follow later, when the noise subsides and the place is going to being more depopulated and take advantage of a beach that in the early days are full.
