| El 24 de mayo se celebra el día de María Auxiliadora, y la parroquia del mismo nombre realiza y festeja con varias misas en el día. Una de las más asistidas es la de las 19:00 hs. donde tradicionalmente se encuentran las ex-alumnas que tuvieron su paso por el colegio. Desde tiempos de una tía abuela, monja de esta Iglesia, mi madre que fue alumna y también mi hermana, nuestra familia tiene su fuerte raíz "Mariana" como se dice, y recuerdo cuando chico asistía al Festejo del 24 donde luego de la misa, infaltablemente terminaba frente a la mesa donde repartían la chocolatada caliente y galletitas. Comparto en palabras apenas retazos de recuerdos que tengo, y que hoy quiero ofrecerles desde una visión más madura, distinta, luego de varios años de no asistir a este pasaje de inocencia mía. La misa por el día de María Auxiliadora, es para algunos sinónimo de renovación de espíritu, esperanza, de volver al pasado, de recordar... y yo lo veo como el chocolate caliente para el alma. | On May 24 we celebrate the day of Mary Help of Christians, and the parish of the same name performed and celebrated with several masses in the day. One of the most assisted is at 7:00 pm. which are traditionally ex-students who were passing by the school. La Iglesia de María Auxiliadora, minutos antes de comenzar la misa ya se encontraba rebasada en su capacidad, que inclusive algunas personas oían la misa desde la puerta.The Church of Mary Help of Christians, minutes before Mass was already exceeded its capacity, that even some people hear the Mass outside the door.
El patio estaba adornado como se hace tradicionalmente, con telas y globos en los colores de María Auxiliadora, que son el rosado y el celeste. La Iglesia también posee un mostrador donde tienen estampas, miniaturas y cuadros de María Auxiliadora, para aquellos feligreses que deseen tener una imagen en la casa.The Church also has a stand where they have prints, miniatures and paintings of Mary Help of Christians, for those parishioners who wish to have a picture in the house.
Una gran concurrencia de feligreses se encuentra en la misa de las 19:00, porque la mayoría son ex-alumnas quienes vienen con un motivo no sólo de festejar la misa del Colegio en el que algunas asistieron 12 años de sus vidas, sino que por el reencuentro con sus compañeras de promoción. El Padre Sergio Maciel oficia la misa de ex-alumnas desde hace varios años y siempre llama la lista, nombrando a las promociones, desde las últimas a las primeras, para saber quienes están presentes. Terminada la misa, el patio se llena de vida con la gente que sale a reencontrarse y saludarse.After the Mass, the courtyard was alive with people going out to meet again and say hello.

La materia prima para la chocolatada es donación de las alumnas, inclusive se consigue más a través de otras personas, porque cantidad de chocolate que se reparte es ampliamente superior a lo que las ex-alumnas llevan.The raw material for chocolate was donated by the students, it gets even more through other people, because amount of chocolate that is shared is far superior to what the former students brought.
Mientras los niños, algunas señoras y alumnas actuales buscan ese poco de "chocolate caliente para el alma", las ex-alumnas hacen lo mismo dentro de la Iglesia, compartiendo, poniéndose al día, tomándose fotografías todas juntas con el altar, que también es otra forma de dar calor a alma. La vida nos lleva por caminos dispersos, pero siempre intenta acercarnos a nuestro punto de partida.As children, some women and current sudents are looking for that bit of "hot chocolate for the soul ", the ex-students do the same within the Church, sharing, updating themselves, taking pictures all together with the altar, which is also another way to bring warmth to the soul. Life takes us to scattered roads, but always try to approach us to our starting point.
