Welcome, Bicentennial's Year!

Feliz 2011 para todos! a nivel personal tendré un año movido por lo que veo, ya que apenas ayer estaba compartiendo con Uds. mi POST "Ángeles de Enero" y con poco tiempo ya acudí a los festejos que se realizaron en el Cabildo, para dar la bienvenida a este año en lo que se conoció como el "Gran saludo al Año del Bicentenario" La Municipalidad de Asunción, la Comisión Bicentenario prepararon una gran fiesta para este 1 de Enero, en pleno feriado donde las calles del microcentro se tiñeron de rojo, blanco y azul en este año donde festejaremos los dos siglos de país independiente. Te invito a que veas este POST, sin necesidad de lentes 3D para disfrutar del mapping y otras actividades con que deleitaron al público en la noche.

Happy 2011 to everyone! personally I have one year with a lot of hurry by what I see, because just yesterday I was sharing with you my POST "January's Angels" and with a little time I went to the celebrations that took place in the Cabildo, to welcome this year, in what became known as the "Great salute to the Bicentennial Year". The Municipality of Asuncion, the Bicentennial Commission prepared a great feast for the January 1, in the holiday where the downtown streets dressed in red, white and blue this year where we will celebrate two centuries of independent country. I invite you to see this POST without 3D glasses to enjoy mapping and other activities that delighted the public at night.

19:30 - La gente en las calles del Cabildo viste atuendos alusivos al Bicentenario.

20:03 - El Coro de Niños del Bicentenario se acerca hasta el escenario para dar inicio a la música y los festejos.
20:03 - The Bicentennial Children's Choir is coming to the stage to kick off the music and festivities.

20:21 - El director adjunto del Coro de Niños del Bicentenario, Benito Román, ejecuta los primeros acordes del Himno Nacional Paraguayo, interpretado por el joven tenor José Mongelós y los presentes. Luego los niños interpretarían de forma magistral la tan hermosa y melódica "Soy de la Chacarita", así como "Chokokue kéra yvoty" dirigidos por Benito, y en el piano el Director del coro, Carlos María Cazal.

20:51 - Gustavo Cabañas y Omar Mareco le pusieron el toque de humor a la noche, con un sketch donde representaban a Juana María de Lara y al Dr. José Gaspar Rodríguez de Francia. También tuvo después una pequeña aparición junto con ellos el "Trompo Arasá", personaje del Bicentenario.

20:56 - Las Arpas del Bicentenario ya están listas, constituyen 100 de estos instrumentos y pertenecen a "Sonidos de la tierra", que en minutos comenzará a deleitar con más música el espectáculo.

"Sonidos de la Tierra", es una agrupación creada por el Maestro Luis Szarán, conformada por más de 2.000 jóvenes y niños de escasos recursos, de más de 70 comunidades del interior del País. La idea es combatir la violencia juvenil, potenciar su autoestima y dinamizar las comunidades rurales del Paraguay a través de la música.
"Sounds of Earth" is a group created by Master Luis Szarán, comprising more than 2,000 young people and poor children, over 70 communities in the interior of the country. The idea is to combat youth violence, enhance their self-esteem and boost Paraguay's rural communities through music.

Dirigidos por el Maestro César Cataldo y su equipo, las "200 Arpas del Bicentenario" fueron el mayor logro del año 2010, inclusive llegando a deleitar y maravillar los oídos extranjeros durante sus presentaciones en los bicentenarios de Argentina y Chile. Led by Master Cesar Cataldo and his team, the "200 Bicentennial Harp" was the greatest achievement of 2010, including to delight and amaze the foreign ears during their presentations on the festivities of bicentennial of Argentina and Chile.

21:19 - Uno de los técnicos encargados del mapping, realizar controles de iluminación y encuadre antes de la presentación 3D. Los que desconocíamos ésto, nos encontramos con mucha inquietud y curiosidad sobre cómo será proyección.

21:35 - Danzas de las distintas culturas fueron presentadas por pueblos originarios Maka, dirigidos por Jorge Benítez.


21:38 - Seguidamente entre los bailes de las distintas culturas, hacen su presentación colorida con sonidos de tambores y hermosos tonos de piel, el ballet afro-paraguayo Kamba Cuá, dirigidos por Lázaro Medina.

21:50 - Finalmente llega el momento más esperado por todos, se inicia la proyección del Mapping 3D en la fachada del Cabildo. La esposa del Vicepresidente de la República Don Federico Franco, se lleva de recuerdo la proyección en su celular.

Bajo la dirección general de Margarita Morselli, la dirección artística local de Carlo Spatuzza, y con guión histórico de Margarita Durán Estragó, Guido Rodríguez Alcalá y Victor Jacinto Flecha, el mapping ofreció cinco actos bien definidos, donde faroles recorrieron el Cabildo, las Campanas de nuestras Iglesias anunciaron la Independencia, antiguas estampillas, retratos de los próceres, grabados del diario Cabichu'í durante la Triple Alianza, y titulares del diario anunciando la Guerra del Chaco, con imágenes del Mariscal José Félix Estigarribia y Eligio Ayala. Me emocioné hasta las lágrimas por la presentación, debido a que alguien especial faltaba a mi lado para disfrutar conmigo.
Under the general direction of Margarita Morselli, the local art director Carlo Spatuzza, and the historical script by Margarita Duran Estragó, Guido Rodríguez Alcalá and Victor Jacinto Flecha, the mapping offered five acts well defined, where lanterns toured the Cabildo, the Bells of our churches announced the Independence, old stamps, portraits of the heroes, the daily Cabichu'í during the Triple Alliance, and the newspaper headlines announcing the Chaco War, with images of Marshal José Félix Estigarribia and Eligio Ayala. I was moved to tears by the presentation, because that special someone missing from my side to enjoy with me.

El Paraguay contemporáneo fue representado con retazos que abarcaron el período oscuro de la dictadura de Alfredo Stroessner, para finalizar con el proceso democrático de la Asamblea Constituyente, el Marzo Paraguayo y la asunción al mando de Fernando Lugo.
The contemporary Paraguay was represented with pieces covering the dark period of the dictatorship of Alfredo Stroessner, to end the democratic process of the Constituent Assembly, the Paraguayan March and the assumption of command of Fernando Lugo.

Los últimos lásers de la proyección hacen estallar al público emocionado luego de más de 10 minutos de mapping proyectados frente al Cabildo, que logró cautivar, lanzar gritos de asombro y aplausos de la audiencia.
The latest lasers projection made the excitement of the public after more than 10 minutes of mapping projected in front of the Cabildo, which managed to captivate, throwing gasps and applause from the audience.

Muchas gracias, como había escrito antes quizás será un año movido, debido a todas las fiestas que se avecinan en los días próximos, hasta llegar a las fechas patrióticas en mayo. El mapping supo cautivar a la gente, y eso significa que lo que nos espera en mayo será mucho mejor, si esto es apenas sólo el comienzo. Por mi parte, haré todo lo posible por compartir con Uds. aquello en lo que sea partícipe , ya que me puse la meta de que los fines de semana sean mis mini-vacaciones y pueda viajar a lugares que nunca pisé, y a fiestas que nunca asistí. Que tengan un buen año!

Thank you very much, as I had written before one year may be moved, because of all the parties to come in the next few days, until reaching patriotic dates in May. The mapping was able to captivate people, and that means that what awaits us in May will be much better if this is just only the beginning.
